An Eagle Cam in Decorah, Iowa

There is a wonderful Eagle Cam in Docorah, Iowa where you can watch the baby eaglets being cared for by their mom and dad. There are videos on the page where you can see the eaglets hatching and their progress. The nest is said to be 6 feet wide. There was snow on the nest when I tuned in this morning. Have a look. It is fascinating to be able to watch them so closely. And there are other videos there that are amazing so search around the site.

mom is sitting on the 3 eaglets and dad is in the background feeding on something

one eaglet in forefront and another hatching from the egg
I believe the cam is up 24/7 and you can also see it at night.

I went to the collage video of the first hatch. It's about 8 or 9 minutes long, pieced together over 24 hours of the hatch. I was amazed to find Mr. Dad Eagle pacing a lot during the hatching. Thanks for the link. I think I'll be keeping an eye on them from time to time.

Glad to see some one else is watching the Eagle's. That area of Iowa is very beautiful. So if you ever get to Iowa that is a nice area to be in. It is up and runninf 24/7.

I've been watching for several days and it appears that as of this morning, there's just one rambunctious eaglet left. Another viewer informed me that when she was watching at some point earlier, it appeared that two of the eaglets had died. If they are nestled under a parent, they haven't moved at all. Has anyone actually seen all three today?

Deanna this is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it. I'm not terribly active on Facebook, but felt a need to share it too, so I sent it there :~) I have just watched mama, then papa too, feeding, then they went off camera and I could see the chicks sleeping. So wonderful :~)))
