I'm still playing with hearts along with all my fellow heart whisperers led by
Jude. And Shibori class with
Glennis is still in progress so there's a lot there to experiment with. I've been all over the place the past couple of days going from one project to another as you can see.

Oh wow your work is getting more and more stunning- you are really projecting a style of your own in these. GIlly
All gorgeous! I wish I could've done the shibori class. I like the knots too. I'm trying that tonight as well.
I'm like you this last couple of weeks, all over the place with my creativity. We are enjoying whatever we do and that's the main thing. I love your shibori hearts. Great idea to combined them together - Hugs Nat
Deanna; can't wait to see how the three shibori hearts piece develops.
Did you get all those colours on the arashi pieces from tea bags? I'm obviously not buying enough varieties of tea to try out!
All so wonderful Deanna. I love your heart and the arashi dyeing is amazing (havent had a chance to try it yet. Might try and squeeze in some dyeing time this weekend).
Lovely to catch up with all of your latest art work. That combination of shibori and hearts is inspired...love it!

your hearts look amazing on that cloth Deanna....
It's so much fun to see all you've been up to. I love the shibori hearts on the shibori background. It's amazing! I love it! I'm hoping to get a little stitching time in this weekend. My plan is to design about a dozen very small starts, so I have something to just pick up and stitch on between studying (so I don't have to pull supplies out and try and figure something out), Medical Terminology is kicking my petunia this quarter!

love the shibori hearts on the shibori background and those tea bags, wonderful!
Love your shibori hearts on the shibori fabric - and your stitched heart reaching in all directions!
thanks to all of you for the kind words. i do like the piece with the shibori hearts on the shibori cotton but don't really know where to go with it. i thought about just stitching around each of the flower-like shapes. not sure if that will be enough. any ideas?
Just fabulous hearts and its almost better for being simpler, somehow? Its the shibori then that makes the statement.
Great arashi too!
i agree with liniecat's comment, make a simple statement about the shibori.
perhaps allow the shibori piece to
hand on display for a while . . .?
it really is stunning the way it is
now. the rest of the story will
come your way, in time.
cristina, it has been hanging here all week and that's what made me add the green background. i'll do a bit of stitching and if i don't like it, i can always take it out.
