another BUTTON GIVEAWAY...

Here's the next giveaway I promised a few days ago. All you need to do to get your name in the hat is to leave a comment. I'd like to know how you will use the buttons if you're the winner, but that's not a requirement for entering. The winner will be randomly picked on Saturday, Nov. 12th.

the last of the buttons and a GIVEAWAY...

The button class is over and I loved every minute of it. I know I will be using some of what I've learned on lots of future projects. Here are some images of what I've made since my last post. Click on the images for a close-up view.

 And I've decided to do a couple of GIVEAWAYS of the buttons/brooches I've been making.  The first one will be a brooch and some hand dyed scrim.

the brooch measures 1 ½" in diameter and has a pinback. The scrim (not pictured here) will be of the same color.

 You just need to leave a comment to enter and the winner will be chosen, by random selection, on November 5th.
I think that if you are the winner and see some of these up close, you will want to sign up for one of Karen's classes. She will be offering more classes after the first of the year.

A New Magazine and more buttons...

The first issue of  Fiber Art Now has been issued. You can see some of the premiere issue here. Since Fiberarts Magazine is no longer publishing, this looks like a promising replacement.

And, of course more buttons, brooches and toggles have been made in Karen's class. This is the last week of class and I have been inspired to go in many different directions.
