vulnerability...

I just watched this video that Linda Mathew's posted on her blog and would like to share it with all of you. I think all of us can relate to some of what Brene Brown says. If you agree, why not pass it on.

and I found Peggy's post this morning very interesting. A unique way to dye cloth with an avocado. Check it out here.

Ah...Ted...One of my favorite favorites. And this one with Brene Brown is absolutely, wonderful, couldn't be more wonderful. Her therapist sounds so much like my last Zen Freudian Elder whose voice I sometimes hear in my head when I feel stuck, or scared, or lost. I'm so glad you blogged it today. I will pass it along to a wide spectrum of friends across disparate communities. Thank you.

But the wonderful avocado dye project - first I need a compost pile (can't really use the one in Massachusetts, cause it's way back in the woods, and critters raid it daily, and the apartment kitchen? Several months could make a terrible stench. Maybe out on the fire escape , though it's illegal, and I'm in the front facing the 13th Police Precinct entrance).

Deanna - it was a good idea to post this. I think Brene does such valuable work. Her books are wonderful too, you may enjoy them.
I too was amazed at the avocado experiment!
