It's hard to stop doing these, especially when you see all the ideas coming from the students in
Jude's cloth to cloth workshop. I guess it's time for me to stop and start stitching because I'm running out of pins.

You are really off and running with weaving strips! I especially like the hand dyed one! Nice to see some of what's happening in Cloth to Cloth - a great class.
just like potato chips.
Haha Deanna, I had the same problems running out of pins. You can invisible baste them if you don't have time to stitch. I love all of your blocks so far. I did a similar one with the red gaps behind. Nice job. Love it - Hugs Nat
I really like the colors in the top one. I agree, the weaving is addictive.
Deanna - you have been busy! The red and blue one really appeals to me. I still have a pile of weavings that I haven't even started stitching on yet!
these are great Deanna. I am especially loving the top one.
that's easy, go and buy more pins. i stopped and stitched and never got back to weaving and experimenting.
all yours look fabulous, esp the gaps one with red. k.
the pin problem is very real! Plus I am extremely picky about what *kind* of pins and have recently moved so I'm not sure exactly where I'd need to drive to get more. Do not want to fritter online time looking for places to buy the pins here at the keyboard because it is much more fun to look at everybody's C2C2 posts and their blogs. Used to live right next door to a very well stocked sewing venue. Why oh why did I never buy a lot more extra pins when I only had to walk across a parking lot? Probably because this *is* all I had to do so I never thought about actually needing extra pins when they were so easy to find. Having the same problem over rotary cutter blades...
Yes, you can buy more pins, then go on weaving - and stitch next year... - it just will get harder to decide with which one to start...
i think i need to stop weaving and start stitching---too many unfinished things around...
I love your colour and texture choices Deanna. It was really pleasant scrolling through them. Gillyx
this weaving is totally entrancing
