The Weavings are Multiplying
The second lesson on weaving with Jude is all about anchoring. I anchored one weaving to a quilt top that was never finished and the other to an old linen doily.
anchored weaving pieces
pieces woven
linen doily with setacolored cloth
I also played with some of the first pieces. I added a moon and stars with oil paintstiks and did a mini overlay weaving. The fun continues.
WOW...thank you deanna for putting them here...i so much miss being in the class...it's so great to see all the variations of a lesson. and i love how you experimented!

My favourite: the doily...
I absolutely love the second to last picture, those tiny, tiny squares, beautiful...
oooh i love the stars printed on the night time piece... they are all gorgeous... you do such beautiful work ..always.
These are really coming along! I love them all, but especially the warm, sunny orange/golds.
They are looking great Deanna. Your work is creative and interesting. Have fun - Hugs Nat
It's addictive work. I would do one after another if I had that much play time to devote to weaving.
Love the bold ones especially.
That first one looks like its on fire - must be your creative fire! Nice weavings!
