more meditative stitching...and...

Really want to incorporate some needlelace here so cut out one of the holes and started experimenting. also added and manipulated some cloth.

It seems to be saying...RELAX...

The section of the magic cloth with the goat was too light to my eyes so I added some bits of fabric to darken it a bit and added some paw prints to hopefully connect it more to the cave section above.

more stitching to be done here

and...here are my FLY STITCHES for TAST (Take a Stitch Tuesday)...

added some bullion stitches and beads

Busy, busy, busy ....such beautiful (and individual) stitching.
Needle lace stitching is looking wonderful. I love that sort of thing with scrim.

really like the lace stitching effect you are getting. very airy and light. the TAST is wonderful too. I like the multi color look. and you magic cloth is looking very magical with all the beasts appearing and disappearing. you've done a huge amount of work. I've been really set back with my work this week because of having to deal with things at mom's. first her furnace, fuse box and light fixtures going out. why do things happen all at once and in threes...but hey, it's almost done so i should be back...really really like the TAST work. ttul.

I love your hole cloth. It reminds me so much of barnacles on a rock at the sea. Your MD cloth is beautiful, as is your fly stitch row. Have a wonderful weekend.

I know so little about needlelace, very interesting to see what you're doing with it, Deanna. And beads with the fly stitches? oh my, YES!

love the needle lace it's looking more and more like you have found a piece of the ocean where it meets the sand that you can hold in your hands

I just started TAST but my fly stitch doesn't seem to belong to the same family as yours!
