wanted to share with you a documentary I watched this weekend that was quite good. it was a documentary of Frank Gehry, the architect, and his process in designing and developing a building. it was nice to hear what goes on in his head during his process. think you will enjoy it, if you get the opportunity. it is called:
SKETCHES OF FRANK GEHRY. I watched it on Netflix and here is a trailer to give you an idea of it.
Frank Gehry also has some wise words for his students that you can see here. he advises to Be Yourself. these are both under 2 minutes long.

a nice use of blanket stitch, I like it in wavy lines and circles more than straight lines, but haven't done mine yet, maybe this morning before the new stitch is posted!
well i'm impressed, not only by your stitching but the top of the table and room. how nice is that? boy, i don't even think i know where my table is anymore...lovely lovely. the blanket stitch is a favorite of mine. inspiring.
Boy oh boy--talk about neat--It's so fresh looking with the curtains blowing and sunlight too. Your colors are absolutely Springing with cheerfulness. What a treat!
i just love the blanket stitch, especially the takes arlee has on it.
& have added the gehry movie to my netflix- looks great.
Heavens, I wish I could be that tidy!
Thank you Deanna. Your magic cloth is looking great and the wise words of Frank Gehry are noted. Excellent timing as I am working through these issues currently. Have a great day.
I've been working really hard on keeping my table clean. It's a challenge as it's my nature to stack things. Just requested the movie from the library.
Deanna- I love your roller coaster blanket stitch. And seeing a blank slate of a clean table, ready for more magic! I hope all of your "sorting, purging and organizing" leaves room for some surprises! Heehee. The film looks so interesting. "nobody else is the Expert in their work"...brilliant!
blanket stitching is good, feels homely and comforting.
