stitch scribble...

a grid

and patchwork with a scribble stitch

and I've gone from double knitting hexapufs to little pouches. love being able to knit the front and back at the same time. this pouch is 2" square.

Ah Deanna, you've scribbled a lovely nine patch!

perfect for your little treasure. very nice 9 patch. did you dip dye or is that how the cloth came. faux weaving, i'd say.

your cheesecloth work is great! i'm imagining a couple of the meditative stitched pieces overlapped. cute pouches-
there's another way to knit both sides at once, i think it's called double knitting, where you knit back & forth, skipping every other stitch, did it a long time ago, and it gave this working magic feel, too.

Knitting the front and back at the same time... intriguing. I like the stitched grid very much.

I love these both! It the grid going to join the cheesecloth beast? Somehow I imagine them living on the same cloth! The pouch is adorable and really, I've got to weave a new medicine bag!!! Seeing everyone's pouches is inspiring me!
BTW-every time when I see more and more of your work I wonder Why you do not consider yourself an artist? I consider you one :)

Deanna, I love the scribble stitch. Looks kind of like what I do just to play, I have lots of these little bits around, but yours looks nicer. :)

Really inspired by your openweave fragments. The pouches are very cute too.

I love the cloth where you have withdrawn the threads and it looks so delicate.
