what a terrific idea, and it looks so good.
but how funny, i've just now been looking at Kindle and thinking of getting a Kindle Keyboard 3G. Any thoughts on this? i've not had one before at all but i'm running out of room for books at home.

When I saw this, I took a deep breath in and very slowly let it out. It is just gorgeously soft and earthy and exquisite all at once. That is one lucky Kindle Fire is all I can say. Love the b & w hexies, too!

As everyone has already said, your pouch is beautiful. I love the rich colors. Your Kindle should be very happy to rest inside, that is if you let it rest. ;) Happy Thanksgiving.

Love the home you have created for your Kindle! And oh, the hexagons...my mother used to sit in the car on long, long drives sewing them together. Lovely memories.

Happy Thanksgiving.

thanks, Marie. the base fabric is a Kunin felt left over from the days when I made little teddy bears.

Ingrid. a kindle fire is a small computer tablet that works wirelessly. it is also an e-reader. it's very much like an ipad, if you are familiar with that. thanks for visiting.
and thanks to those of you who have commented but do not indicate an e-mail address.

Deanna- your pouch turned out beautifully! It looks so soft. I think the blanket stitch is my favorite, so I love your use of it here. If you like, please show us the inside! Have a lovely day!

I love your bag Deanna. Beautiful colours and the combination of silk and wool is lovely. Great button on the fastener. It must be special to use your grandmother's thread.
