missing 25 of these beads...
I'm working on a bobbin lace collar and decided to count to make sure I had enough of the beads I chose to use. I am short by 25 beads. I bought 4 vials of beads locally quite a while ago and pulled out all of the matte finished amber ones. Have gone back to all the local shops and they are not sold anymore. I also checked online but that company doesn't seem to exist anymore.
So......I'm hoping that someone out there in blogland has 25 of these beads they are willing to part with. I'd be happy to give you some beads in exchange.
Thanks so much for looking. If I don't find the same ones, I'm planning on mixing 25 similar ones at the center point of the collar.

I wish I did but don't have what you need, but someone might--if not, and you are forced to an alternative finish, may I suggest 25 of entirely Other, different beads (another color perhaps--a forced but new twist on the original plan--since 25 is an odd one out-perhaps even 24 of the new other and ONE outstanding center bead.
i have some which are similar. what size are yours? it's early now but in a little while i'll look and see what i've got.

Well, I indeed do have about 1/4 of the elusive "frost mix" and I counted out a grand total of 14 of those matte amber beads. If you'll send me an email with an addy, I'm more than happy to make the remaining frost mix yours!

erin, you did not respond with an e-mail address so I'm responding here. the beads you show on the link are a lighter color. I found those as well at Joann's and thought they would work but they don't. I do so appreciate your checking and for the offer.
