the silky inside...

a couple of people asked to see the inside of my kindle fire pouch so here it is...

hand dyed silk with oak leaves and acorns (I think)

and here it is with the kindle showing I've received mail
It was quite easy to learn how to use this device with the manual I downloaded. Still having a little problem with the sound but hopefully I'll work it out. I like that I can download documents from my computer and read them when I'm away from home. Don't need the wi-fi for that. So far, I'm happy with my new toy.

Hope all those in the USA are having a great thanksgiving with family and friends.

Your little pouch is so perfect Deanna - just love it. It has texture and such warmth - you should give a lesson to the kindle users.
Happy Thankgiving to you too.

hi Sally. thank you for your comment. there are lots of simple pouch tutorials out there. just do a google search for a basic pouch and you can embellish it in your own way.

I love the case to your new little toy. What interesting materials you used.

My husband has a Kindle with a custom-made quilted case with fish on it.

Love how you honored your purchase by preparing a home for it before it arrived. Enjoy!!!

That silk is lovely! I love the idea of hidden beauty in the gorgeous lining of something which only the owner knows is there...
