I have reached my 200th post and am so grateful to all of you who visit and comment and give me so much encouragement. I wanted to give away something that most of you would find useful so I decided on this pin cushion that I made back in November. It measures 5" x 5" x 1". You can read about it
here. If you would like your chance at winning, please leave a comment on this post. I would like it if you told me what craft you would like to learn more about. Or if you had a chance to learn some new craft, what would it be. I will put all the names in a hat and post the winner on Friday, April 1st. Wish I had one for each of you. Here are some photos. Click on the image for a closer view.

Congratulations on your 200th posting Deanna. Your blog is quite fascinating because practically every time I come for a visit, I learn something new. What a special giveaway;lovely little pin cushion, evoking spring in its color and weave. I'd be tempted to display it as an object de art. Thank you for the opportunity to participate.
Re craft: I'm focused on continuing my exploring with eco dyeing. Later in May, I'll be traveling to California to spend almost a month with children & grandchildren who live in San Francisco. Our favorite park, Golden Gate, has many euclayptus trees so I hope to forage, with permission, and collect leaves to bring back and continue the eco dyeing fascination. I haven't found euclayptus growing here in TN and I don't want to buy any in the craft stores; for me it is all about foraging for my eco dye materials.
A new craft that is also calling to me since I live in the land of kudzu is basket making. When I saw the basket that you had made, I was quite inspired. Again, since kudzu is rampant here, I am going to do my civic duty and collect a swath to help get rid of it. I've talked to some kudzu basket makers and gotten some tips.
Hi Deanna. It's fun looking through your blog. I see you love fabric dye or at least that's been getting your attention.
I'm one very curious person who enjoys crafts and am always looking out for new ideas and crafts to pick up. Well, I'm hoping to explore more of beading with cabochons that I started not too long ago. Looks like there's so much more that I'm not aware of.
Congrats on your 200th post milestone!

Congratulations... - I´m in, of course...;) I´d like to add messy things to my crafts spectrum - which I can´t do right now, living in a rather small apartment - such as paper making, felting BIG vessels and such - and: sewing my own clothes...
Heartiest congrats Deanna - woohoo! One thing you do not know about me is that I do NOT have a pincushion - Can you believe it? It is true. Thanks for sharing your celebration like this, Gilly
Hello Deanna I have managed to get to your blog at last...since logging on I have made a cup of coffee and washed the lunch dishes...i have now returned to the comp to see if anything had happened...(our internet is beyond the patience of a saint)!
200th post well what a milestone...like Jane...bobbin lace is a craft i have never tried but would like to give it a go.
Happy day take care Leslie c
congratulations on your milestone Deanna.....I would love to have some dressmaking skills, I keep thinking I will take classes and never get round to it.
Well as my big sister has just commented, just have to comment also! Many congratulations on you 200th post, you have a wide variety of crafts which are all interesting. The little pin cushion is lovely, and being a person that is always loosing pins and needles it would be ideal if it came my way.
Congrats on the 200th post! I rather like those "eyes in the dye", even if they weren't planned. Like Jane, I don't have time for another craft but I still need to learn how to do the fans like you're doing in bobbin lace. I love pincushions and seem to have bunches but that wouldn't stop me from wanting another! I also like that cording on the pinkeep - I wanted to do that on the one I just made but didn't want to take the time.
:-)
Congrats Deanna! That pin cushion just looks comfy enough to sit on lol Its beautiful!
Hmm a new craft.....well your shibori has definately peeked my interest!
Yours is an interesting blog to read, glad I found you!
Congratulations on your 200th!
A new craft? Possibly printing, although that is not exactly new, not much I havent tried, perhaps to be really good at something instead of mediocre at most would be nice.
Congratulations on reaching 200th post. That is wonderful feeling to see how it's all started! Thanks for your gorgeous pincushion giveaway. I collect pincushions so please count me in - Hugs
Nat
congratulations on 200 posts!! I want to start using more stuff from my yard.... i want to learn about natural dyes and painting rocks and using driftwood and pottery fragments....
Congratulations, Deanna! Let's see...I've been feeling drawn into some felting projects and just had my first success at wet felting a small piece. Your pincushion is lovely.
Congratulations Deanna! I am impressed...200 posts!
I am one of those people that most any craft that really intrigues me, I do....so a new craft? Would have to be more eco dying and eco prints!
Love the pin cushion it is quite beautiful.
@00...wow...congratulations Deanna. I have so enjoyed your company and spending time with you.

to celebrate along with the beautiful
treasures you create!

i always enjoy your visits :* ) deanna
Hi Deanna, ooooh your pairs of dyed eyes are so good !(Still missing on the fun in the dye class)
YEAH 200 !!!! quite an achievement,
I hope to last thát long at least ;-)
Bobbin lace ? I love it, that is: seeing, surely not making it! That's the one technique I think I don't want to try... all those bobbins ánd hundreds of pins.... But you're doing great!
Deanna -- 200!! And many more, I hope!
The pincushion is another Deanna-gem, the weaving so beautiful...
What I love the most about visiting you is how inspiring you are so it doesn't matter what type of craft you write about and show us -- I just love to be surprised and inspired and I always am.
Congrats on 200 posts!
Count me in please - I love your pincushion!
deanna, 200, wow! thank you for your blog & for encouraging me to start one. I love all the different inspiring directions you go in. not having time or space for dying much, it's been great to see your adventures in it--those eyes that showed up a few posts ago, oh my! I'd love to keep watching this process some more. beautiful pin cushion, unlike my ratty old thing.
Congratulations on your 200th post! What a gorgeous pin cushion, I love how you have woven the ribbon and inserted. Great photos.
I would love to learn how to spin yarn...
Have a lovely day.

Wow 200th post and I still don't have a blog. ha! I love that you dabble in so many different crafts and seem to do well at them all. I myself would like to get more into weaving, I tried a class with the loom and all and it seems very addicting and one needs lots of rooms. So that is stopping me a little.
Congrats on your 200th! love pincushions, can't be without one. What i like to do next is learn more felting techniques!
Well done... 200 posts! Love the pin cushion, the centre weaving gives an interesting aspect. New craft...mmm... maybe shibori. I've always admired the beautiful dyed effects that can be achieved. Thanks for sharing your many talents. Jude
Congratulations on your *200* milestone. I lurk and read a lot,so it almost seems cheeky to enter, but I love the pincushion. New craft?....I'd like to learn basket weaving, and use bits and pieces from my yard...grasses and feathers and whatever I find.
Thanks for your generosity.
What a beautiful pincushion- you are multi-talented! Glad I found you in the shibori class! That is my new thing that I am working on this month. Next month-figuring out how to compose a piece with all the lovely fabric we are creating.
Congrats, deanna! I'm such a new blogger, and it's going to take me a bit of a while to reach 200, what with writing mine so long and storylike. I think maybe I should switch up to your style of truly journaling your work. I do enjoy reading your frequent updates.
Can't think of anything new I want to learn at the moment. Just continue to be the inspiration you are in the dyeing and sewing we are already studying. You amaze me by always being first in line to share your work. Do you sleep?
Congratulations on 200. My blog I think is up to around 15 posts!
I am in your shibori class, so I would have to say I would like to learn it better- I am new enough at it to consider it a new craft!
Love the giveaway item- very pretty.
Marsha
This is such a beautiful piece. I love the colors and the variation of tones as well as the intricacy with which you have created the weaving.
A new craft? Making mosaics with all my beautiful old broken china that I have been saving for years now. It is not textile related, but I think it is like quilt-making using lots of bits and pieces and composing it all in a blended treasure.
Congratulations on your 200th posts. Amazing feat!
Congratulations on your 200th post Deanna. You have certainly been busy lately. I love all your experiments with Shibori. I would like to learn lino cutting and fabric printing. At the moment I'm too busy quilting! Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog. I appreciate it.
