I took a machine wrapped cording class from Linda Mathew in 2007. There is a
link that she posted in 2009 showing lots of good info on making machine wrapped cording. I don't have any pictures from back in 2007 but I did find some of the cording that is still to be used in projects. I did my best to describe how each was done below the picture.
