Ready to become buttons...

Wow - those look absolutely amazing. I'm rather wistful about not being able to join in the class ... looks like you're having a wonderful time :)
The work you are doing in this class is just amazing. They look as fine as antique pieces I had the pleasure of seeing in the collection of the Phila Mus of Art when I interned there in college. So wonderful to see artists like yourself carrying on the tradition of really fine hand sewing. Me--I'm learning to make big and bold stitches in Arlee's class.

I love the detail of the stitches, what thread are you using for those bullion knots (sorry, you've probably already said and I missed it!)?

Deanna, I love them! Do you use a magnifier of any sort? I don't think I could do this with my bare eyes but on the same note, I don't think my fingers could do this either!! They are beautiful.
