My Royal Mail Surprise

On Monday, I made reference to a wonderful surprise I received in the mail.  It was a package from Karen Ruane of Contemporary Embroidery.  She sent me four exquisitely embroidered white buttons.  The picture does not do them justice.  All of her work is extraordinary.  I look forward to reading her blog every day to see what new item she has come up with.  Here are a couple of pictures of the gift I received.  Check out her blog:  http://karenruane.blogspot.com/ and her etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/contemporarystitches . Any ideas on how I should use these buttons?  The only thing I've come up with so far is an organza flower with lots of layers and the button would be the center.
