been doing this and that....

The front and back of a pouch made with a gifted fat quarter and some of my hand dyed cloth.

click on the images for close-ups.

a bit of gifted lace stitched on after crocheting an edge

some woven thread cards for a page in a family album being worked on in Karen Ruane's Alchemy class

...and a new Knitting and Crochet book has me testing out some samples.

I read about this Korean paper making technique called Joomchi so I thought I'd give it a try....just experimenting right now. Don't know very much about it. Google Joomchi, if you're interested in seeing some beautiful work.

layers of paper...lots of possibilities

We had some wonderful rain this week...almost 6" so the garden is looking good.
Until next time....be creative and enjoy.

Your Alchemy page is interesting and beautiful, love the gathered bit on the left bottom corner.is it an extra long bullion or just a thread?

Hello, glad to hear you had some rain! Your pouch is fantastic, love the hand dyed and stitched side. Karen really does have some interesting classes. One of these days I would like to take one of her classes. Beautiful knitting, love the colors. I am going to look up Joomchi after I finish typing. I have been working in my garden every day this week. We have had lovely weather in Ohio.
Have a good week.

I love that paper Deanna, I'll be googling that for sure... I used to make a lot of paper years ago when the kids were young.
I love your drawstring pouch, made with gifted bits and pieces - a lovely reminder of kindness!
