i've been taking a watercolor class through Joggles.com for the past 4 weeks. i'm trying to get more comfortable using watercolors and this class helped teach me some new techniques. during the last lesson we were to take some of the pages we produced, make them into a book and we added bits and pieces of other pages on the inside. i did some stitching and stamping in my books as well.

The water color books are little jewels! Each snipped becomes so meaningful, doesn't it? And I so love the blue basket with the turtles. This is excellent! You amaze me time after time with your choice of colors and your sense of combination.
Deanna - Deanna - Deanna!!!
I love the books-n-baskets both! Watercolor has always been my favorite paint medium...the turtles grab me (of course!) and all of your color choices...beautiful :)
LOVE YOUR BOOKS DEANNA! Yes, LOL, I was shouting!
Your baskets are lovely too.
Do you ever sleep?
xxoo
You have been busy! Love the little watercolor books and the baskets are such fun! :)
i love the colors of the baskets - they look really good and practical - they'll hold just about any treasure that will be placed in the - so unique. and the watercolor is really great - lots of expressionistic gesture - the mixing of the different "media" is what i like about them. this is a good move towards alchemy. and as far the book making goes - they look good. my first stitched books were never square - i'm still dealing with getting my corners square - never gonna happen. you never fail to amaze me at all the things you do. lovely to see this. take care.
Looks like a lot of fun your watercolour books! Great way to learn techniques too (a sort of sampler).
Love your coil baskets, especially the one with the little turtles.
Busy hands as always.
