dangles and ruching...

lots of stitching going on here while waiting for a new stove to be installed.

bullion stitches, french knots, machine stitched scrim and ruching

you have done a wonderful job with karen's guidance. you make her proud. i saw she made reference to "deanna's dangles" the other day. made me smile. i didn't quite understand the word: titivations but dangles made it clear. really nice.

Is scrim like cheesecloth? Your dangles and ruching are both really nice. I think Karen's class would be worth taking from what I have seen you and her other students do. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.

Deanna, you are definitely a lacemaker. Wow, what you've done with the scrim is wonderful. The hummingbird nest is just vibrating -- thanks for that link, I missed it before. Now you can get back to more dye magic with the new stove! Happy weekend.
