you have done a wonderful job with karen's guidance. you make her proud. i saw she made reference to "deanna's dangles" the other day. made me smile. i didn't quite understand the word: titivations but dangles made it clear. really nice.
Is scrim like cheesecloth? Your dangles and ruching are both really nice. I think Karen's class would be worth taking from what I have seen you and her other students do. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
Deanna, you are definitely a lacemaker. Wow, what you've done with the scrim is wonderful. The hummingbird nest is just vibrating -- thanks for that link, I missed it before. Now you can get back to more dye magic with the new stove! Happy weekend.

your work is so beautiful Deanna and I adore your ruched piece.....I am avoiding the birds!!! Way too much to do and I would be hooked for hours!
hang them in the trees
And so satisfying to have something so good to show for hours waiting for the installation!

Sometimes waiting for an appliance can be a good thing! Lovely work Deanna.
