This way you don't have to do a lining and you wouldn't have all the back side showing. Nice touch with doily on the shoulder. I am stitching on my sweatshirt jacket and the stitches show on the inside as it is unlined. I kind of like the stitching on the inside, I do try and hide the knots and clip all the tails.
