I think with the Noro yarn...I have never knitted with it but have long been an admirer of how it feels. Seeing it here with your knitted sample, it looks beautiful! The other yarn is a bit garish in comparison. Maybe if you held the bright yarn with a strand of cream wool, knit it and then felt it, the bright colors would just add a touch of accent.<br />On to the embroidery, Wow you stitch bits are growing into a large body of work, very interesting. The use of your leftover bits to create lace, really adds a lot of texture and would leave me thinking, "How did she do that!"<br />We had a touch of Spring here as well and it was nice!<br /> Mosaic Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08715004978582753127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-74106743325531544.post-68268252997709108862014-02-23T04:24:17.043-06:002014-02-23T04:24:17.043-06:00I agree about assembling as you go along. Noro is one of my favorite brands of knitting yarn. their colours and feel of the wool as you knit is so good in the hand. the scarfs exciting. i watched an episode of knitting daily this week where a knitter demo'd how to calculate with hand=dyed yarn to actually make it come out in "predictable" patterning but i think between the stacking and wrapping i'd more easily get a physics degree from MIT. those colours are bold - for sure.
